Registration

FEES: Fees are due in advance (UPFRONT) by the 7th of every month.
Fees are calculated on a monthly basis. Should you join in the middle of the month you will be billed pro-rata.
Invoices are automatically generated and sent on the 25th of every month, FEES ARE DUE by the 7th of the month.
Fees go up annually each year on 1st March OR WHEN DEEMED NECESSARY.
Our registration fee is non-refundable.
A 5% discount will be given to person 3, 4, 5 etc.
No swimmers will be allowed into the pool if fees are not paid up to date.
No refunds will be given.
Non-payment will result in us handing your account over to our debt collection team & listing you as a default payer on the National Defaulter Database of the Credit Bureaus until the account is paid.

TERMINATING CONTRACT ( 1 MONTH NOTICE): ONE calendar month written notice is required in the event of terminating your lessons/contract. You must email karen@macswimschool.co.za to activate this clause. NOTICE WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED AFTER 1 OCTOBER until 1 January. Should you give notice and want to return, your registration fee will be due again. Any issues regarding non-payment of notice will be handed over to our attorneys.

NAPPY POLICY: All children under the age of THREE, or those who are not fully potty-trained regardless of age must wear a Huggies Little
Swimmer underneath a tight fitting costume. Cloth nappies or regular nappies, are not acceptable. A swimmers nappy is not seen as a costume, and swimmers will not be allowed into the pool if the above is not adhered too. 
Huggies Little Swimmers can be purchased at most retail stores.
PLEASE NOTE: Should your child not be wearing the correct attire and an accident does happen in our pool, you will be held liable for any costs of cleaning, treatments and or possible drainage and refilling costs.

SWIMMING CAPS: Swimming caps must be worn at every lesson.

ARRIVING ON TIME: Please make sure you arrive at least 10-15 minutes before your swimming lesson.
Late arrivals will result in receiving only the remaining time of that lesson. Please have your child dressed in their costume
with swimming cap, ready to swim. Teachers/staff are not responsible for pupils outside their lesson times.

MAKE-UP POLICY: Swimming lessons missed for any reason will not be rescheduled. Due to our busy schedule, small class sizes and to maintain those class sizes, we do NOT make up class lessons.

LIGHTNING POLICY: We DO NOT teach when there is lightning. Lightning is an extremely dangerous occurrence and MAC will not endanger its swimmers or teachers by swimming when there is lightning. When lightning strikes within a 15km radius of our facility, we get out of the pool and pool area for half an hour after every strike. Please download the LIGHTNING ALARM APP from the Apple or Android Store and type in the area MEYERSDAL. If you suspect that there will be no swimming due to lightning, we advise that you to come to swimming at your OWN discretion.

POPI ACT POLICY: The Protection of Personal Information Act, (Act 4 of 2013) (POPIA) gives effect to the constitutional right to privacy, regulates the manner in which personal information may be processed, and provides rights and remedies to protect personal
information. MAC Swim School fully complies with this act.

INDEMNITY: I (the parent/guardian) waive any claim that may arise as a result either directly or indirectly from attending swimming lessons
at MAC Swim School. I further indemnify the owners of MAC Swim School or any teacher or employee employed by MAC Swim School in the event
of any accident, bodily injury, contracting COVID-19 or theft that may arise before, during or after any lesson. I understand this is a legal and binding document from date of signature and will be held liable for all monies owed from the date signed. I have also read and understood the conditions above and agree to abide by all of them, when joining MAC Swim
School. These terms and conditions are non-negotiable. Right of Admission Reserved.

Public Holidays: We do not teach on Public Holidays and these lessons missed are not made up.

CCTV Cameras: MAC Swim School is monitored by CCTV cameras both outside and inside the pool area. This is for your safety and ours. Only authorized personnel will have access to CCTV footage and it will be securely stored.

CONTAGIOUS DISEASE: Students with ANY contagious diseases are NOT permitted to swim.

CHANGE ROOMS: For the safety and privacy of all our swimmers, boys OVER the age of 5, are NOT allowed in the girls change room and girls OVER the age of 5 are NOT allowed in the boys change room.
